Fascia is connective tissue found throughout the body. It surrounds and supports muscles, bones, organs, ligaments, and tendons, helping provide structural support and allowing tissues to move effectively.
Fascia can become tight or restricted, which may contribute to changes in movement, reduced range of motion, postural issues, and soreness.
Myofascial release (MFR) is a slow, hands-on treatment technique that can be used as part of rehabilitation, including following surgery, to support comfort, mobility, and recovery.
Treatment is normally performed without oils and uses slow, controlled movements. These techniques can encourage relaxation and may help promote a sense of calm and wellbeing.
MFR may also support circulation and lymphatic flow and can be incorporated into a treatment programme according to your individual needs.
